Katie Pritchard: Videos
- On the patio at Lake Isabella
- Singing the Indigo Girls version of "Romeo and Juliet" July 2009.
- Singing the National Anthem at a Cincinnati Reds game
- 2005. This was the second time I sang the Anthem. I was a veteran by year two. Yeah right. Singing in front of 30,000 people is nerve-racking every time. I was able to relax and enjoy it a bit more this year.
- Empty Bowls pottery benefit
- This event benefits the Freestore/Foodbank and is put on by the Clay Alliance of Cincinnati. You'll see in the video the bowls that were donated by local potters. Folks buy tickets, eat wonderful soup from area restaurants and take home their own bowl. I performed in the room where people chose their bowls. This was my second year and I was happy to be part of it.
- Gigging at Showcase Cinemas
- This is a pretty typical laid-back night in the lobby of the movie theater.
- Singing at a wedding
- Chris took this with my camera at a wedding a few years back. I was hired to sing "Bless the Broken Road" with a pianist accompanying me. Can you tell the piano player was nervous? He's playing this AT LEAST two times faster than normal. That's okay. He was young and I doubt the bride and groom really noticed anyway. :) Apologies for the poor video quality.
- Entertaining the crowd at the Flying Pig Marathon
- I did this gig three years in a row and each time I think I played "I Will Survive" 50 times. In 2007, I decided to walk the 1/2 marathon. It's a lot different from the other side of the fence, so to speak.
- Singing the National Anthem at a 2004 Cincinnati Reds game
- Wow, was I nervous. I expected the stadium echo when I sang but not the echo from the monitor just in front of me. So, when I sang I heard myself echo twice! What a fun experience.
